its called rf signals it can be caused by a cb/police/ham radio putting out large amounts of power at close range it could be hitting the dish directly or getting into the coax cable because of a crack/brake in the line
Don't use cheap coax, RCA, or S video cables or splitters. If using coax cable, make sure it is UL listed for CATV and use the shortest cables possible. You need shielded cables from your receiver to your TV. Also, a surge supressor with an RFI filter may help.
I had the same problem..Back in the tv antenna days.. I have Satilite and never had this problem and i transmit in many frequncies.....SO THE LIES ON YOU TUBE
Sounds like India, and good thing we've gone digital, so this could never happen.

how long is your co-ax? your co-ax cable could be resonate at the frequency that the police opperate at!.

That isn't a CB, it's a Taxi. Hear those touch tones after each transmission? It's a feature of commercial radios used to identify who's talking.

What you're doing is you have a CB Radio and you're pressing the TALK button. It does the same thing to my TV :-)

Heh back in the day I used to use my old tv (with manual tuning) to pick up police and cell phone signals.This was before anyone was using digital.
