Who plays this arrangement originally? I got my hands on the music, and I'm looking for a studio recording of this arrangement. If anyone could shed some light it would be greatly appreciated.
@gubaldino This big band arrangement is made by Kenichi Tsunoda Big Band. CD "Shuffling Shuffle", JAZZ LIFE Level/ Tsunoda Kenichi Big Band/ KTBB 03. Please search japanease site for "~tsunokenb.b/cd.htm". I think the root of this arrangement is started with JJ Johnson and Kai Winding. You can see search for a movie watch?v=QxUj2fKFX7A in youtube. CD are "Octet & In Person", or "Nuf Said"; Avenue Jazz - Bethlehem Archives - R2 75995.
This is unbelievable ! Tight , memorized and great solos !!! This tops "Just friends". The out chorus is incredible- just when you thought they've played it all-a KEY CHANGE!!! and check out the high trumpet unisons ! These girls have been trained correctly and such energy. There is nothing like this in USA ! Bring them over.

Excellent performance for amateurs of this young age! Bass should make more presence to tighten up the band, IMO.

I love the bari at the opening. Just my opinion, but I think the bari could have brought her sound out just a wee bit more.
