"John J. Rambo" (First Blood prequel trailer - fan made)

this new movie could explore more details of the "First Blood (1981) and the David Morrel's book, including the training of Rambo in Fort Bragg, North Carolina with Samuel Trautman, his friends of Baker Team (Messner, Ortega, Colleta, Jorgensen, ...) and others, the increasing of his performance like soldier during the years of the war, how he get his "mythic" knife, the explosion of Joe that he says with Trautman at final of the 81's movie.

Resuming, the movie must be a link for First Blood.

@animusetfides Absolutely, these are exactly the lines we are thinking along. We had thought of including some of the basic training stuff in the trailer, but didn't have the resources to pull off the larger scale military scenes. We prepared a whole plot outline for the First Blood prequel we would make, and then took the parts in it that we thought we could do justice to visually. However, were we to do a full feature, the ideas you mention would definitely play major roles. Thx for the input!

@TransformerslNC Thanks for the critique. We wanted to keep the over-the-top 80's style voiceover from the old trailers. Perhaps we went overboard, but that's up to the viewer.

I didn't really enjoy that. When ever Mickey Cardoni would just stare at nothing in almost every scene he was in during this "trailer" ruined it for me. I like 3KB. Just not this.

I appreciate the effort gone into this, well produced and shot but just not feeling the actor vying for Rambo. It all feels a bit James Bond Jnr, a bit childish and not at all powerful in the way it should be.

@clerzerkerTOto7 The events that we show in the trailer happen during Rambo's second deployment to 'Nam in 1969, following his Green Beret training. If we were given the opportunity to do the movie, we would also cover his basic training, his first deployment in the Airborne regiment, and then his Green Beret training. Nice of you to assume we're stupid, but it's not especially accurate in this case :)

@shediedfilms Sorry. I just don't remember "Green Beret" being mentioned in that trailer. All I saw is what looked to be Rambo getting drafted and then just becoming a badass during the war. I know I sound like an asshole but the hope that anything from this trailer will actually make it into a Rambo prequel is just lousy, pointless, false hope. I AM SORRY. This is brilliant. Its as if this is an actual Rambo film trailer. The funniest thing was the fact that the same two vietnamese soldiers seemed to be on John Rambo's ass. Which i think was done really well, with what limited budget you must of had this honestly seemed real.Great job

Rambo :P like it almost makes me think that this movie right away is a joke, just because your revealing a little more of his name. Since it's a prequel I wouldn't have even minded if you guy's made it really cliche and called it Rambo: The beginning...

@KillSpreeGaming We really wanted to call it just "John Rambo", because this really is the story of the person John Rambo become the legend Rambo. However, Rambo (4) used John Rambo as their working title so we wanted to avoid confusion. I get where you're coming from, but we were interested in avoiding cliches, and titles like The Beginning are palyed out in extreme. Perhaps there is a better title out there, so you can debate us again if we get the shot! Thanks for the constructive criticism!
