I know about blow throughs and all but that is out of the question as my tank and compressors are in the bed. What box sub amp combo could I put in a standard cab s-10 which has very little room and still get good deep bass.

@printzcory Dude, totally depends on how you have the subs wired.. if you have them in series and they're at 4 ohm, you're running at 16 ohms; wired in parallel: 1 ohm. Since that JL Amp can handle 1 ohm, but you're it is cutting out, you've either got a power or heat issue. If you have no idea what I just said, have a professional look at it.
