BJ was in as good condition for that fight as he has ever been. He survived GSP absolutely destroying him for 20 minutes. You don't do that in bad condition. GSP is just too big and strong for BJ. BJ is a great 155 pound champion and can probably beat every other Welterweight, but we don't need to see GSP kick his ass again, which is the only thing that can happen.

Diego has the best mindset in all of the UFC. Dana White has said it himself. Idk exactly how he worded it but he said this. Diego is the only fighter he know who gives it 110% at every training session everyday, and goes into the ring dreaming it. I think whoever wins will have to earn it and it will more then likely be split decision. There is no way this will be a short fight.

Yes. I think so because while Guida is extremely tough, Florian's Muay Thai and BJJ are excellent, and he has a huge advantage in both areas. I think he will dominate the fight on the feet for the first round, and choke him out in the second round if he doesn't get a tko stoppage from a cut earlier than that. His Muay Thai elbows are vicious.

How is he playing it safe now as opposed to before? His wins have always been largely from his dominant ground and pound which leads to tko's submissions and decision wins if he can't finish. I may be forgetting something, but I don't think he has a highlight reel knockout. He doesn't "play it safe like Tim Sylvia" because he completely dominates while Tim Sylvia (who was never more than a striker anyway) lost because he was "playing it safe".

If you don't think "hughes is much" you aren't a very educated fan. he has 40+ wins, many against top level fighters, and before gsp, was unarguably the most dominant welterweight in ufc history. jens pulver and hughes are both much bigger names than sherk. do your research before you embarrass yourself like this.
