He took this fix from a earlier post, after u take the xbox apart u remove the xbox clamps that hold down the heat sinks for the processor and video chip and bolt the heat sinks to the board, First u need thermal paste and machined screws 10mm 1/4 in long and plastic or rubber washers. After u put it back in the case u need to turn it on for 30 seconds or so, this way the thermal paste bonds. Finish putting it together and u are now fixed. Don't buy something that was taken for some one else.

dude, this is three lights, (and there is an easier way for three light 1). for three light, you take out the memory unit, press eject and the white little button at the bottom at the same time, wait, turn off, wait again, and then turn back on ... you took the SEVERELY complicated ver of it
