  • I needed this! :D tnx for the technique

  • does he teach how to do his famous inverted guard to inverted triangle in his DVD?

  • @kevluv93 you bet

  • his teaching style kicks ass.. i wish this dude was my instructor.. Ryan, you da man!

  • The thing Ive learned in any combat art, is knowing the "little things" and secrets, not the overall principles, this is what makes you successful. Ryan Halls gives gold nugget after gold nugget of spectacular advice.

  • Quick question, why do you over hook his outside arm when you go to finish the triangle?

  • @EVlLDMON under hook**

  • @EVlLDMON Hall explains that here: ?v=rsNtpxKVn5M

  • @EVlLDMON I believe it is just to get the angle.

  • if i can pull this off rolling in training on sunday it'd make me happy all next week :)

  • Yep, I'm drilling that one today. I need to come down and get your DVDs... if coach Ives wouldn't mind ;-).

  • I love this I can never finish RNC or collar chokes from the back the triangle is the best!

  • that guy has skinnnnny legs

  • @Mess1490: Yes, this can be applied with the Gi on. It's a little trickier due there being more material (i.e. – friction), but the principles are identical. I actually utilized this position (seat belt triangle) a few years ago to secure a gold Medal. Ironically Coach Hall was advising me that day.

  • At 4:04 keep the left hook and right hand post.Triangle over his right shoulder with your right leg to left hand under grab your right ankle that is over his right shoulder.Seal triangle with left leg.

  • this is amazing can you apply this to the gi?

  • @MESSI490 yup. and it's exactly the same collar chokes are obviously your 1st option though.

  • something i havent seen before. bjj is truely endless

  • guys a genius!

  • Ryan Hall is giving a seminar at Vamos Brothers BJJ on 5/2/2010.

  • Wow..BJJ ceases to amaze me...there is sooo much to learn. Awesome technique! I hope I land it on a wrestler tomorrow morning

  • *never ceases

  • Bought the DVD from amazon today :)

    Looking forward to get it.

Ryan Hall is realy good at showing and explaining the details in the moves.

  • "when times get tough, man adjust and finish of from elsewhere" That is philosophy right there!

  • Great stuff!

  • Bro you mean....

  • wOw!! Aside from the technique, there's a wealth of insight and sound advice going on here....awesome!!!

  • this guy is smooth

  • This is amazing , awesome video Ryan !!

  • try to shut the fuck up. since you don't know shit and this is based on no gi. Not everything is meant for the ufc. You ignorant piece of shit

  • your a moron

  • its not that bad?

  • u r king.

  • everything i've seen from this guy is the best instruction ever

  • wow sick move and great insturction
