  • Hey guys I'm building a 355. It has stock internals except for speed pro flat top pistons and it's all been balanced. It also has a Comp Cam Xtreme Energy 268 and Edelbrock E-street heads and a Edelbrock performer intake with a 650 cfm carb. Any ideas what power and rpm range I can go to?

  • @Codythecartaker

6500 RPM should not be a problem for you.

  • @cncmotorsports cool...but the valves wont be floating

  • was any porting or anything done to heads flow wise

  • @LoganTheRedneck

No porting, just our multi-angle valve job. Porting was not allowed on this engine build due to rules.

  • @LoganTheRedneck ok thanks looking for a cheaper alternative to aluminum heads for around 450 500 hp thanks

  • care to share the specs on the cam? i dont need exact specs, just something vague because i have pretty much this identical motor ready to go in my 88 monte ss with a .550 lift cam and was wondering what it would make for power

  • @1988montecarloss

I'm sorry, we don't share cam specs on any of our engines.

  • Nice

  • Or better yet the way you held it on that's another way to use duc-tape

  • Nice duc-taped velocity stack /air horn

  • Nice duc-taped on air horn/ volicty stack
