If you're going, ask one of the guides if they can tell you where the secret passage is in one of the main rooms - it's a stair case that leads down from the room towards the moat or the river. I can't remember which room, though. They used to keep it hidden and you could only find it if you asked.
Also ask about the drains from the old toilets that passed through the dungeon. Raw sewage and pain!!
For best photos cross the bridge and go in the field opposite the school. Outstanding.

i went to warwick castle in 1989, when i was 18. our tour group went into the dungeon. to this day, i swear something touched me. i had to leave. it was broad daylight, 10 people or so were down there, but i couldn't stay there.
Ive been in the dungeon when j was down yhere something tuged on my coller, it was weird

ive been there and i believe its haunted cuz i spent the night there w/ people to people student ambassadors and we had tons of ghost sightings

I was there in 1986 and the torture chambers were pretty creepy!
