For those who don't know, that foglight that you saw on in the video was intentional. VWs have a cornering light feature that turns on one of the fog lights depending on which way you turn the steering wheel.

Broken foglights standard. Only one works at a time (check 2:00) to conserve energy :) Just like my 2006 3.6 Passat with Lux package.

The new Touareg is not exactly more everything. AFAIK, no more pneumatic suspension and no more trail-rated AWD, just a regular one. But no one from intended clientele will not care anyway. I really cannot get why wealthy people insist on buying luxury crossovers instead of normal cars like CTS-V Wagon or M5 Touring or E63 AMG Wagon.

@Artyfil It's a cornering light system, very common in european cars. When you enter a corner the foglight on the side you're cornering in enlights the path for better visibility.

@Artyfil Wrong. VW's have a cool technology where either of the foglights light up when the steering wheel is turned most of the way in either direction for more visibility at night at low speeds. Kinda like steering linked headlights. Just so ya know.

Really? Looks like a jetta wagon inbred with the tiguan. Nice navi, but besides the LEDs, I prefer the previous version side panels. Front grille looks cheap with nice LEDs..can't say this one is a hit.

@dCydia It's suposed to be like that. At night it iluminates corners and makes it much better to see stuff on the side. It's very handy!

Hi steve , thanks for the feedback , i have owned a touareg for the past 5 years and have been very happy with it , beside a few waranty issues the car is just so sure footed to drive , i live in a country that seems to keep flooding at the moment and having a 4x4 is a asset at the moment...and yes i would own another touareg again..

@ymyone - It's a nicely engineered SUV that truely is solid and sophisticated. The opening scene was designed to be slightly "low key"... so maybe that's why you got that impression. The Audi LEDs finally made it to the appearance in production. Looks great. And quite fine of a review. The production quality is amazing, and such coverage of the vehicle's aspects.
