If you've ever seen jason put on a ball striking demo for a half hour, most of you folks would can it about how he can only hit a driver. He seemed like a nice guy to me at our event. He's "working" when he's at a corporate event, but he seemed like a personable guy all the same.
There were some really long guys at that event who hit over 3 bills legitimately on a course that isn't dry and play to a +, and nobody was within 30 yards of zubacks drives, and most ams weren't within 100.
@daw162 In fact there was a Playing lessons with the pros. Great Ballstriker. Too bad he only did long drive. Could use that swing with a lil more control. Could see him on a tour or two.
I love the ignorant statements made by people who always assume these folks cannot play golf. Granted some of them are strictly long drive. But there are quite a few of them that actually play golf. Anyone here played in a US Open? A long driver has. Anyone here played on the pga tour? A long driver has. Anyone here played on mini tours? Several long drivers have. Anyone here play Donald Ross design country clubs and shoot scratch or better? People talk out there ass because they are tools.
I'm not gonna lie his swing ain't pretty, the point remains that it gets results. He's a strong guy though used to be a powerlifter, 600lb+ deadlift and/or squat I think ;-)
Yes. All of these long drive guys have handicaps in the 2-3 range and some are scratch. Imagine being able to hit 380+ with a 100% swing .... that means you can hit it about 330 using your 75% swing. That's a huge advantage on any golf course. Obviously these aren't PGA Tour players so they probably aren't exactly great putters but you can't exactly hack your way around a golf course (no matter how far you hit it) and be a low single-digit handicapper.
Yes you dumbass's, I can see how all the crowd yelling a big hook. that was dumb of you now wasnt it. Zuback is the man in LD. He has days as well as any Tour Pro does. Like you can even come close to hitting 300 yards anyway. He has a great swing, big arc, good control, and is powerful. He does not have a quick swing speed, he is avg. SS, about 140ish. He is accurate with an iron as well. If you heard about the Team event he won shooting sub 70, then what? dumbass's
Did anybody see him in that charity event with the PGA guys? He drove it over the green on an uphill par 4, and then his chip rolled all the way through the green down the hill to about 30 yards short of the green, where he then tried to chip in and blew it past the pin, losing to the tour pro who drove it short of the green, hit a 40 yard pitch, and one-putted.
hideous? its imbarrising to see some pga pro´s hit it. thats hideous. this however is the beauty of maintaining solid contact with ballance and ram it out of your toes. saying its hideous is like saying angelina jolie has to big tits.
AWESOME! THIS NEVER GETS OLD!!! His swing is weird, but it is so fluid and on plane and its just amazing how much speed he creates while maintaining his balance. It's all about effortless power, not a powerless effort. Words of wisdom from Bob Toski

The shaft is so long it changes his arch and there is no consistence when he would need to hit a iron. Deep ball though.
