Foam doesn't do anything below -let's say- 10 khz or so. It's just a waste of money. You need mass. And recording vocals in an open big space will sound much better. Just beware of the sounds from your pc and stuff.
@MrTektonik That is not necessarily true. This type of foam does indeed not absorb a lot of sound like a duvet would, but it does really good sound scattering, eliminating direct echo's. It works best with tapered rooms or boxes because this increases the energy dissipation and counters harmonics, but this booth will work quite nicely, I can assure you.
i took some tips from here and tottally worked, for you all who's on this vid talkin shit. quit, you watchin this bcuz u tryna makae 1 yah self. marks.
Yeah... changing the pitch was an... odd choice, but you sped yourself up enough that I have no idea what you're saying. So... you took what might have been a useful video and made it almost unusable. Next time, leave it alone.
you can buy large sheets of foam cheaper by going to Walmart or something like that and buying one of those sheets of foam for beds. though it's not quite the same... a whole sheet the size of a double bed is around $20.
This is probably the best solution I've seen for a portable framing system for an isolation booth. I used to work in the construction industry and I'd probably do with a little bit heavier PVC and connect it with PVC cement but otherwise hat's off for a simple lightweight frame idea.
nice, really cheap and looks alright

You should check out the rates for acoustic foam at g2voice[dot]mybigcommerce[dot]com where it's about half the cost of what you have here.
