What an utterly composed little car that is. Have you got some driveline/exhaust to body contact going on or is it just a trick of the recording? We are repairing #1884 for road use.
@schlusselmensch I'm not sure if you are referring to the noise - in which case it is just the recording. Mine is just as noisy (if not more so, because of the lack of internal trim) as other Elites.
PS Make sure you watch Part 2. Especially the last lap.

Yes, that is the 1216cc FWE Climax - running at just over 7500 rpm. Around 130mph through the right hand kink in the main downhill straight.
