I really don't lilke this set much--ge barely looks like a Toa of Light, with just white and grey. He should have been all gold, like in the movie. The lance is way to short for him, and he hardly looks like a Toa at all, at that size. He should have been shorter.

I know about the shadow leech thing, and that he now controls light and dark. But if you ask me, that was a bad idea, to make him so tall and dark. the white and gunmetal grey...has nothing to do with light. he's not a Toa of Light.

actually the toa in the story, I'm pretty sure aren't supposed to change size unless of coarse they become titans, it's just that Lego started using more pieces for more manuverability, and the figures got taller, in the movies, even in mask of light they made all characters have the articulation of a current toa

in case anyone forgot, takanuva was also affected from the protodermis fusion between him and makuta, from bionicle mask of light, not to mention his shadow leech mutation of course, i think the protodermis made him gain a new personality, but the leech gave him a jumbo body mass boost

I just bought takanuva yesterday. I replaced the red + pieces with black ones, added a second launcher, added a longer piece to make the weapon extend more and replaced the blue connecting pieces with beige ones. I think he looks better that way. The mask is rly big, like double the size of the first one. Also the mask hurt my hand from trying to squeeze it (the prongs are kinda sharp). I didnt rly like the matoran limbs and it was different that you had to make the legs x2. Good, awesome set.
