Both the Blue Line and Red Line also have elevated segments outside the Loop. The Blue Line also has a couple of other subway segments on the way to O'Hare. I think the Blue Line goes up and down more than any other line.
Never mind. I found a CTA map and I also found the Dearborn St. Subway (Blue Line) in addition to the State St. Subway (Red Line), and both run totally separate of the Loop. I wasn't sure if one of the streets in the Loop had both elevated above AND subway below.
@RDG484 There is also the Dearborn Street Subway. The Red Line uses State, Blue Line uses Dearborn. They run underneath the loop and northeast and south west of the loop
How did you get on a not in service train? I want to get on one.

Is the State St. Subway the only subway in Chicago? Does it run through the Loop or is it north or south of the Loop?
Thanks.
