I believe that the universe came into existence through a process which today we do not understand and I choose not to fill the gaps with religion. so I guess that means you believe you know how the universe was created and i don't, I prefer the wonder. ;)

What did our beloved lord ( ALLAH) create first before the creation of the heavens and the earth.
ALLAH first created the pen.
ALLAH then created his arsh (throne).
ALLAH then commanded the pen to write everythink untill the day of judgment.
Scholars differ in the hadeeth in which order the above were created in but most scholars agree on... the pen was created first and then the arsh of allah.

Beautiful video indeed! I wonder how it is though that you can see and comprehend all that it's on it (galaxies, supernovae, the formation of the stars and the earth, the evolution of life, etc.) and still believe in God. There are astronomers and physicists who are believers, of course, but in most cases the enormity of the universe and a religion that says that the only thing God is interested is how humans behave seems to be like a contradiction to me. If you want to explain, I'd love to know

...The expanding universe; another confirmation of the Big Bang, (if it is expanding it must have come from one point):
"And it is We Who have constructed the heaven with might, and verily, it is We Who are steadily expanding it." (51:47)
Matter was like smoke (you've seen the pictures I'm sure they are in that video):
"Moreover He comprehended in His design the sky, and it had been (as) smoke..."
(41: 11)

"Soon will We show them Our Signs in the (farthest) horizons, and within themselves, until it becomes manifest to them that it is the Truth..." (41:53)
Big Bang (everything was in one mass then it was split) also every living thing made from water:
"Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were of one piece, then We parted them, and we made every living thing of water? Will they not then believe?" (21:30)
