she is incorrect at 2 minutes 38 seconds. yes NH3 is trigonal pyramidal in geometry, however it is not because it has 2 lone pairs sticking out. in fact it NH3 does not even have 2 lone pairs it has one. tetrahedral with one lone pair is trigonal pyramidal geometry which is what Nh3 is.

im no mit student though, just a community college science major ;0

Why on earth did they decide to zoom in so close on the professor but not on the screen. You are actually going to learn from the screen, and not from her!!! what a waste of youtube space. I think the lecture is very interesting, but I wish I could actually learn from it. Hybridization is one thing my professors skipped over for the most part at my school.

I loved the example of your own hair. The content if just great. The camera is now focusing the black board instead of the (beautiful, by the way...) professor all the time.
