This is an unforgettable version of the famous jazz ballad. Billie is in excellent "late" voice, which means that her tattered vibrato is exquisitely controlled and is poignantly echoed in Ben Webster's saxophone solos, whose every phrase opens into a loose sensuality. By the way the whole song is introduced into the excellent Argentinian film Burnt Money as a metaphor for the tormented sexuality of the two male protagonists.
