conservation of energy, and "entropy". any reaction increases disorder, thats physics. (i)energy is FINITE wheras any animal tries to reproduce exponentially,

(ii)Entropy: Life only increases *order* by creating more DIS-order in something else. hence something else (that you dismiss, just as Elite dismisses you) is always experiencing scarcity or even being destroyed.

I think that you should use darts for that stuff.

No mess, no damage, knowing when you hit or not (Airsoft is far too fast and small), and no needing to go around like a jittery bug looking for tiny little pellets, when darts are easier to pick up.

Just my honest opinion.

paintballs too messy and whats the point? airsoft is cheaper and more effective because the fps(feet per second) is lower and its less likely to break parts on the robots. think about it next time.

airsoft is 320-450fps for automatics

500fps for singleshot guns

fps is only half the problem. How heavy the object is, is just as important.

Force= mass x acceleration

The weight of an airsoft bb is around 0.2 grams

The weight of a paintball is around 3 grams

Unfortunately, paintballs would limit the venues we could play in. We are working to upgrade the scoring system to be more interactive (lights/sound/etc when a mech takes a hit)

should use paintballs instead, with airsoft we cant see whos shooting who or anything, its just a bunch of lil walkers strutting about with really poor audio. :S
