no, this isn't incredible. you notice how the puppy is always watching the owner when she is tapping her paw?? well once she has tapped the right amount of times, the owner relaxes a bit or stares at the dog. that shows the dog that what she did is right.

I love this show! It's called Pet Star and you can see it on Animal Planet. Its a contest seeing which animal is the most talented. Whats amazing about the show is that they have all kinds of animals (cows, horses, pigs, parrots, cats, rabbits, seals, hamsters, dogs, skunks, goats...)

I remember I once saw a parrot on that show that played golf, basketball, and something else which I forgot :)

i have a jack russel too! he is smart. he only plays fetch with 2 tennis balls (or any other ball. we can't take him to soccer games now) and if u try and hide one he knows that u have it and won't chase any other ball. :)

The trick is all in the state of tension in the trainer's body. They ask the dog a question and the dog stares at the trainer and "counts" until it sees the trainer relax. Awesome trick, but that's how the dog is doing it. Saw a horse do it before too. Loved the trick with the snack, incredibly talented animal, very well trained :)
