People can argue this all they wan't but 1 thing we need to consider is if these people are not being honest how can we explain for the people who die come back and can recal event's that took place inside the room hence they died in? Even though they were unconcous.

A lot of these people are selling books and CDs and can't be trusted.

@k0smon : I agree completely that we all could see God at any moment because of death. Most people never know how long they have to live. It is indeed important to live everyday at our best. However; I do believe that the Rapture is very near. If you read the Bible and the current headlines you cannot but help seeing the signs. Yes I know people have been looking for the Second Coming ever since Yeshua ascended into heaven but all the signs were never as complete as they are now. Maranatha.

this last year i have become obsessed with NDE's. i died for a moment while being born and i remember a "white room" actually it was just whiteness. no floor walls or ceiling. more to it but its complicated. any way i have many questions i would love to talk to someone who has experienced a profound NDE. i have some questions about god. i feel like i miss him so badly. i feel like something is wrong. please someone contact me

To understand God.. imagine a light source shining through a perforated screen. . so the light source is converted to tiny pin points of light..

Imagine the pinpoints of light have a consciousness.. which makes them feel individual and completely separate from the light source.. because the screen prevents them from detecting it..

All they can have is a belief.. that this light source exists.

Skeptics are uninformed and rely too much on what they have either been indoctrinated to believe through hearsay, or tunnel vision, ie, the inability to think outside of the box. Victor Zammit has written a book listing 100's of cases with evidence for the afterlife and a great deal of them from scientific research.

If you don't believe, that's fine, you have the right not to. But you can't say it doesn't exist to someone who has experienced it. Peace.

thank you paul. I read your experience in a small book published by the ABC entitled, 'and when I die, will I be dead?' it was a transformational book, an inspirational and convincing story and I'm so glad to see you recount the experience in the first person.

At least it didn't go overboard on the religious aspect, though the so called mystery is overblown. Fear and oxygen deprivation go a long way in explaining the facts....not the occult.

Wish people could just leave it be, there's no place to go and no reason for our survival instinct to not kick in.

@Albtraumen :: You seem to be way behind on your research. Drs Moody, Morse, Sabom and others have studied NDEs for years. There is so much evidence that life continues after death that it is hard to refute it. Kubler-Ross was convinced that life continued.

@k0smon No, it is you who is way behind in research. Kubler-Ross believed in holistic medicine, mediums and was brought up strictly religious. Her work was done in the 70's. The other Drs. did the main body of their work in the early 80's, don't even know if they are still alive. All they have is stories, no empirical proof that is accepted by mainstream science today.

I have read that a Christian was excited when they met Krishna and a fundie Christian was excited to find that the reality of existence and spirituality is more like Buddhism, though she never knew much about Buddhism because of her upbringing and Christian beliefs.

She began studying Buddhism because what led her to even known it was Buddhism was the symbolism in the visions were Buddhist.. I have seen that people often see what they don't expect more than what they do... But truthfully, we won't know until we die and I have a hard time accepting anything as "truth."

1971, stage IV postpartum hemorrhage. Exceptional hearing ( heard the nurse repeatedly telling the Dr. my BP) ..."over 27".

I felt cool, it reminded me of a spring fed creek. I felt I was floating downstream under a canopy of trees (tunnel).

The Dr. roared, "Open your eyes." But I wanted to continue floating. I pushed him away. He was prodding and it hurt.

I opened my eyes , I was still in my bed, arms too weak to lift. He had stopped the bleeding.
