(my spelling is really bad, sorry 'bout that) I once dated a filipian boy, but i never heard him talking in his native toung. It's a beautiful language. Almost like a mixture of spanish and japanese, for an untrained ear ^^

It's absolutely fascinating! I love learning new languages - and I was mezmeraised as soon as I heard the first secentense. ^^

Ah, so I wasn't totally off by drawing parallells between tagalog and japanese, then.

I'm acctaually swedish (you didn't see that one comming, did ya ^_~) but my fiancee is chinese. I've studied both japanese and chinese, but I find chinese alot harder. The pronaunciation of finish and swedish is similar to japanese in many ways, maybe that's way ^_^
