Awww THAT'S CUTE!!! I came across a fawn at the farm last summer, same thing: the mother is not always there, and they say to not touch them. People often think a fawn is abandoned; it's just the mother is not there at the moment... so I just observed and sure enough she came back. I hope the bunnies are all ok!!!
@75capriceconvertible I actually filmed this back in June and just got around to posting it. I had to squeeze under my porch on my stomach to see them. That's probably why I had so much trouble getting a real good shot. It was very hard to resist petting them, but I did! I hope they're ok too. I live on a very busy street and luckily haven't seen any dead rabbits in the road. Fingers crossed!
@rovan26 Yeah it's lucky they did not wander out in the street, but, I think their timid nature would prevent them from doing that, with the noise and such. I would have had a hard time not petting them too! They are so beautiful! My building here is on the river bank, I face the street but the other side is the river, and there are rabbits all over the place, it's just great!
you can put carrots lettuce and a small bowl of water under there for the mommy
