you have to go to old man oshus that ciela told you about. then when you come out of his house ciela will tell you to go to the cave nearby. then in the sign write 7 . go forward and you'll get the sword to kill the monsters and chop down the trees. I finished the whole game .Ask for more help when you want

haha no im not from japan. im from CA but i have been to japan(tokyo, osaka,yokohama) for the summer twice. i love it over there and i get to stay with my friend megumi. i speak a little japanese and read a bit, but im still learning. ^.^

ok i just figured it out. after u talk to the old man. go in to the cave that has a big blocking. look at the sign. the fairy should talk to you. then look at the sign again. then the sign should pop up. the draw a big 7 on the sign. then it should trigger the door to open.
