  • i agree with muffincita5 :) thank you so much for the help! i get unit circles better now :D

  • How would I solve 3sin2x-1 in the same way in your video?

  • @zacmiley12 I assume you mean 3sin2x-1 = 0

    bring the 1 over: 3sin2x = 1

    divide both sides by 3: sin2x = 1/3

    Solve for 2x: 2x = sin^-1(1/3)

    Divide by 2: x = (1/2)sin^-1(1/3)

    In degrees: x = (1/2)[19.47,160.53] 180 - 19.47 = 160.53 degrees

    Therefore x = 9.735, 80.265

    In radians x = 0.1699, 1.4009

  • What a great video! Thank you so much.

  • you are a math god...

  • I understood all video, and I'm not an english native.I'm from Portugal. The video is very good, and the spoken english is easy.

  • can you please help me prove this

    tan(x-3pi/2)=-cotx

    thanks

  • okay...to be honest! i really dont understand

  • @dillzchaitoo What parts?

  • OMG! Thank you i have been so confused on how to do this...

  • Thank you so much

  • Awsome... So much easier to understand than my tutor. Thanks!

  • Man this is actually really complicated. My teacher just uses the 2 triangles. So much easier to remember.

  • thank you so much!

  • our class had to memorize the unit circle before we got into trigonometric stuff

  • I have learned a lot from this video. But I have a some questions that I still need help with. The question is:

Solve the following equation, giving values of θ in the interval -180 and 180 for

    A. 3sin^2θ - 2cos^2θ=1

    B. cosθtanθ=-1/2

    C. 3+4tan2θ=5

    D. 4cos^2 2θ=3

    How do you do these

  • thanks so much for the video i did not understand this at school but you explain real well

  • Thanks man! This is really helpful.

  • Thank you so much...my teacher has been teaching this for about 2 weeks and by watching only this video i finally understand everything my teacher tried to teach us...Thank you so much and keep it up. I'm looking forward to watching all your videos

  • Thanks for the comment. It is good to hear when someone finds my videos clear and helps them understand some math.

  • thank you! i can finally understand solving trig functions :) you're a very good explainer
