the riffs totally do sound like closed casket requiem :D i looove it though totally digging the sound.i like this direction of music alot better than their first album.awesome.

@hottaco11 I agree i love both bands very much but to give justice were its due they really did "rip" off later At the Gates. I've read in a few magazines how both of the bands were influenced by At The Gates Slaughter of the Soul. But in the end who cares? To quote good ol Eddie Vanhalen "if it sounds good, it is good"

@Sion6 i strongly disagree with that, you just gotta have the particular taste for them...i like to say that their riffs are a lot of very organized phrases of scatterbrained shredding, complex for sure, but i guess its all in how you approach it. and shannon lucas is a fuckin boss!

both bands are great and neither rips off of another, in any way i think the sound of LTC actually compliments the sound of BDM in some songs.
