  • one of the best animations

  • When you pause mid-action, the art looks rather shotty. But watching it fully animated is just amazing. Genius!

  • As someone who has considered following a career in animation, I can't help but feel discouraged by all the "well there's no detail so everything looks sloppy" ideology. When there's action that's moving this fast, and with this much power behind it, excessive detail actually would take away from the force of the motion of each character and serve as a distraction from the whole movement. This is not an animator being lazy; it's one who knows how to use motion in the physical form.

  • @nanakieverblaze This.

  • @nanakieverblaze *Nods sharply*

  • @nanakieverblaze i have to disagree. have you seem the "fast motion" from afro samurai or samurai champloo? those are fast and don't look as sloppy. even with fast motion they shouldn't ignore the details for each frame.

  • @nanakieverblaze "When there's action that's moving this fast"

There's no point in having a specific style of animation that shells itself out into funky aspergers induced plastics running the fuck all over the place.

    look at 1:54

    How is that even great.

  • @edithlegacy you must learn what good animation is.

And about the video... amazing, badass animation.

  • @DarthSpartanVenom0 you want good animation? try classics like samurai champloo or afro samurai. this anime is just lazy.

  • @edithlegacy both this video an Shippuden 167 have very good animation

you have to learn the difference between art and animation

  • This is sick

  • Remember this is a fast paced fight, then there's those people who say that this was badly animated just like the Naruto vs Pain. Obviously you don't know what animation is if it hits you in the face. -_____________-

  • the way they fight is more clear then other anime besides naruto and swords of the stranger but this anime is one of the best anime i have seen

  • This scene was in one word EPIC! 8D I have watched it I don't know how many times :D EPIC animation and movements :D Thank you so much for uploading most parts of their final fight, I couldn't find it elswhere but the ep itself^^

  • Am i the only one who thinks this battle is the most epic in like all animes?it's like amazing compared to others!

  • Stupid -_-

  • HOW COME NOONE MAKES PURE AWESOMENES S LIKE THAT ANYMORE!?

  • @Mostlikelykilled Search "sakuga" on youtube, you'll see a lot of nice scenes similar to this one from other animes. But this one in particular is fucking epic. It reminds me the "kyuubi vs pain" scene from Naruto, very "experimental". If you didn't see it, do it!

  • lol at 2:41 she's all like "OWWSHIT"

  • No nataru would have won she even said he to strong and to fast

  • I think she could have easily defeated Nataru, clearly shown when she knocked him back those two times. Since he was her friend she decided not to fight and instead....get her ass kicked.

  • @saphireblade15 I can prove you're wrong! Look at 1:47 . Not only Birdy gets punched and kicked through several thick heavy stone objects, but Nataru's POoWER FISTo is Green. 2:00 That is one level higher than Blue Power fist wich Capella and Birdy have

  • @Mostlikelykilled It proves that he's stronger but Birdy is more skilled. Nataru isn't in full control of his abilities since they are raw. Birdy's powers are more controlled and shes trained. During the fight she was basically defending the whole fight. When she did attack, she could get a good hit. She just didn't. So I think she could have defeated him if she tried harder.

  • @saphireblade15 bro birdy could have killed him since the beginning she been through tough fights she could have killed him in the first place but she didn't cause she loved him to much so nataru could never kill her she to hard to kill

  • @saphireblade15 I totaly agree, Birdy would have beaten Nataru. From what we've seen of her in the rest of the anime and like you said, the way knocked him back twice and not to mension (SPOILER FOR THE END OF EP 12 OF SEASON 2) Birdy is actually a successful creation of Ikushiora. the perfect one of all, they created :)

  • why did you stop it !!!!!

  • omg what is this anime called !!!!!!!

  • @whyumadthoe2 Birdy the Mighty: Decode season 2

  • @Blazureokami It may played at a frame rate, but the number of unique frames in a given time can be more or less. Frame count may be the phrase im looking for. For instance if you were to make take this and cut it up frame by frame for a portion of this fight scene and eliminated duplicate frames, the count would be very low (leading to simplistic/less fluid animation). Take something exactly as long from say moribito and you will have a lot of unique 'tween' or transitional frames.

  • how much frames per second could it be?

    thats some crazy shit lol

  • @Blazureokami It is animation, which is the rapid exposure of art frame by frame. In this case, the POOR ANIMATION drops to abysmally low frame rates of poorly drawn and undetailed art. Some keyframes of the ANIMATION look like between frames. S1 had an simplistic but catching art style that utilized a nice light color palette and soft lines. But the animation was crisp and smooth. S2 deteriorates to the point where they are animating indistinct blobs. So, stfu with what i know and dont.

  • Nataru is crazy!

  • Wowzers she sure can take a hit :O

  • @DazarGaidin Hisashi Mori is one of the best japanese anime animators, dude.

  • holy $@#%

    that is amazingly animated O_O

  • @Waldrouk Sarcasm right?

  • @flackenstien I know there is maybe even better animated animes than this but you got to admit

    this was outstanding

  • @Waldrouk This scene was horribly animated, honestly. It's like they put it through a blender.

  • @flackenstien oh okay then, any other suggestions as to better animated ones?

i would love to watch them :D

  • @flackenstien your opinion, maybe u don't like the fast paced style of animation alot of people do and alot don't its a gamble but don't go saying shit like that because I'd like u to do better then say what u want but again just your opinion

  • @biznich171 But it's actual fact that it is animated horribly...

Pause it, and see how melty it looks...

  • @flackenstien well again I'd like to see u better but i like it

  • @flackenstien

This animation is great, you expect every drawing to look good in each frame, then you don't know animation.

  • @Waldrouk what show?

  • I didn't know about this anime until I did research on the creator of Escaflowne and Heat Guy J (which I adored). This anime looks incredible. I'll watch it for sure.

  • My most favorite, as well as the saddest, battle in all of the anime.

I wonder who was tougher to actually fight though, Nataru or that crazy marionette that whopped Birdy in season 1.

  • @phase866

Look at all of Birdy's counters and how easily she was dodging Nataru's attacks. I'm sure that Nataru is stronger than the both of them, but Ondine's extreme skill surpasses the other two.

    Ondine > Birdy > Nataru

    ...in combat prowess.

  • How the hell does this have less than a hundred-thousand views? This is the most amazing chase animation I've ever seen! I must download this.

  • I think this is one of the best animes ever made

  • that was the battle right there! its so fast u can't even tell whats happening :D
