I thought the anime was so amazingly, beautifully made, it was absolutely flawless (don't get that song stuck in your head.) Then i read the manga; SO much more amazing. If the aniem were to be remade it would be the difference between FMA and FMA: Brotherhood- ie completely different direction, still as amazing if not more.
