I really wish they had been a bit more realistic with how much Piper would have hated Billie after everything she did. Theres like a brief moment when shes like "Oops, sorry, my bad" and they all forgive her. Thats the only thing about the finale I thought was a weak character point. It would have made more sense to destroy both Billie and Christy in the finale, because it would flow with the plot alot more

She didn't forget Paige. She wasn't even looking for Phoebe, just walking and she found Phoebe. Then she heard Billie groaning and she thought it was Paige. Piper was in shock initially, she wasn't looking for anything or anyone.
Pattie just heard she had 4 daughters but they're the charmed ones. 2 died in a battle. Charmed is 3, how does that work anyway. Ifit was all 4 four of them would they still be Charmed?
Idk get it when Chris came he said that Piper was goin to when he was 14 she looks very old then plus y can't the avatar's just rewind time also when melinda Murry came she said that they lose there mother's very quickly

Kept on going, though. They wanted to put her pic up on the staircase at the end, but she said that she would sue if they did. She was ok in some shows, but too serious for me. I like Paige (Rose M), better. I feel she was a better, more fun fit for the show.
Weird how once upon a time Piper was the weakest sister (when prue was alive during season 1-2-3 her and pheobe were the super witches as piper would say) and once prue died pipers attitude changed and now look shes the strongest one... love her

@dannyaelchannel because prue was no longer apart of the show , she left the show .. they didn't fire her ... she left on her own, so they had to write her out in the script .. which is why her character died

the one thing I could never understand is future Chris told Victor that Piper dies when he's like 15... so how could Piper be older here like when they go to the future (theoretically) Piper should be dead... @TheCharmedgirl3 the theory is that the future changes with every move that the charmed ones make so what they done in the present could have changed the future stopping the future piper from dying.

It was said that in Hyde School Reunion Piper doesn't die until he is born. Apparently it happens when he is 15. I think a reason Shannen quit was because she a d Constance M. Burge wanted to focus on the relationship between the sisters but Brad Kern wanted to focus on their love interests. That's why the Phoebe/Cole storyline dragged on forever and the reason Andy was killed off was to free Prur to more storylines.
I think charmed is awesome. I wish they never ended charmed . I think they should make new episodes. i agree they should make a movie about charmed with all the cast not differnet people. that would be awesome.. And i was happy when prue left she was shtty and a bitch Paige is so much better than prue.. i would of hated to have prue as a sister
I love this episode, I think it rocks. Just a shame it's the last. I think Patty and Grams are the best, love the episodes they're in. I think they should make a Charmed feature length film, that'd be cool.
I like all 8 seasons of the show but I think the quality was better when Shannen was around. Back then it was all about sisterhood and how amazing it is to have that special bond.

Brad Kern did not ask Shannen Doherty to return, as he wanted to focus on the three sisters, and not have the last episode all about Prue's return. However, the reason why there were no pictures of Prue is because Shannen would have to be paid money for the producers using her appearance. The budget for the season was already being stretched to its limits, and there was not enough left to pay Shannen.
@tacaloking4 Leo lost all of his Whitelighter powers in the season right before this one, season 7. He became mortal permanently, which is actually a good thing, because it means he and Piper can grow old together. It wasn't really necessary for him to have Whitelighter powers anymore anyway, since both Paige and Wyatt can orb and heal.
I thought they should have shown a picture of prue. IT would have made the ending a better feeling. I was always wondering why they didnt show a picture of her. Its because she didnt allow it.

There were major budget cuts during season 7 & 8 of Charmed. That is part of why they wrote off Leo for half the season they couldn't afford to pay him for the full 22 episodes of the season. That is also why Daryl left the show after season 7. And also if you notice Season 8 really didn't show any bands playing at P3 and there were no really big name guest stars. the reason piper doesnt go overboard with her affections to paige has more to do with paiges personality than with piper. think about it! paige loves her independence and does not like to be crowded so piper respects her wishes. remember paige always calls her "mom" or resents being told what to do if piper or phoebe invade her "personal space".
i dont know why peeps keep saying they should bring prue back, it would be ridiculous at this stage. people you love die, that is life and just because they are witches they cannot continually break that law. as a die hard fan of prue it took me a while to warm to paige but i did and i think she is great! and although piper appears to favour pheobe, if you look carefully at the subtle looks and smiles she gives paige you can tell she loves her deeply.

Her conflict with Alyssa Milano was exaggerated probably so that it could cover up of how the creator of show turned into the executive consultant when season 3 started.
"How do you go from directing the season finale to being [given] a pink slip over the phone, when [you're] in another country, at eight at night?" Combs says. "It was really a tacky way to go about it."

It's funny cuz if u think about it Leo is actually like 200 yrs old when they go to the future cuz when was is the war and died he was already in his late 20's and he was a whitelighter for about 80 years then he finally makes it to like age 80 physically after about 2 centuries HAHA. Patty didn't think how is it the power of 3 if I end up with 4 daughters?

For anyone who's interested ...
Brad Kern did not ask Shannen Doherty to return, as he wanted to focus on the three sisters, and not have the last episode all about Prue's return. However, the reason why there were no pictures of Prue is because Shannen would have to be paid money for the producers using her appearance. The budget for the season was already being stretched to its limits, and there was not enough left to pay Shannen.

@tacaloking4 Leo lost all of his Whitelighter powers in the season right before this one, season 7. He became mortal permanently, which is actually a good thing, because it means he and Piper can grow old together. It wasn't really necessary for him to have Whitelighter powers anymore anyway, since both Paige and Wyatt can orb and heal.

@HstandsforHorror09 : she got a fight with alyssa.. alyssa got bitchy with all her breaks, and shan had a fight with brad kern about to where the story was going.. shannen and constance wanted the series to move on to how the sisters evolve their powers and brad disagreed and wanted to focus on family matters and stuff so shan and constance quit.

There were major budget cuts during season 7 & 8 of Charmed. That is part of why they wrote off Leo for half the season they couldn't afford to pay him for the full 22 episodes of the season. That is also why Daryl left the show after season 7. And also if you notice Season 8 really didn't show any bands playing at P3 and there were no really big name guest stars. That is why the special effects are so bad. The budget is much lower than it was compared to like season 5 & 6.@DearCuteAngel3

@14lanicup Because she likes to bake and didn't want to disrupt the time line. She needed things to happen exactly as they did for a reason. Besides if past Piper doesn't eat them maybe future Piper and Leo did. That might be the reason why.

Directors totally forget the episode "That '70's episode"...Grams already knows that their granddaughters became a Charmed Ones and she already meet Piper...If Patty meet Piper before she knew she's pragment why don't recognise her when all 3 sisters came at That '70' s episode...

the reason piper doesnt go overboard with her affections to paige has more to do with paiges personality than with piper. think about it! paige loves her independence and does not like to be crowded so piper respects her wishes. remember paige always calls her "mom" or resents being told what to do if piper or phoebe invade her "personal space".

i dont know why peeps keep saying they should bring prue back, it would be ridiculous at this stage. people you love die, that is life and just because they are witches they cannot continually break that law. as a die hard fan of prue it took me a while to warm to paige but i did and i think she is great! and although piper appears to favour pheobe, if you look carefully at the subtle looks and smiles she gives paige you can tell she loves her deeply.

@Bkzbabiigirl980 There are conflicting reports to what happened. The saying that Kern did not ask for return and actually said he thought it was pointless probably prevented any chance of her returning voluntarily when you consider how she was dismissed.
Her conflict with Alyssa Milano was exaggerated probably so that it could cover up of how the creator of show turned into the executive consultant when season 3 started.

I mean .. they couldn't show one fucking photo of prue? This is the FINAL episode .. regardless of the terms Shannen left, think of the story line. You can't end 8 seasons of plot without showing the character who took up most of the first 3[seasons]. Come on I mean work something out!

I think Shannen was being incredibly selfish, even though she had some differences with people regarding Charmed, it was the last ever episode, the end of an era, the least she could've done was allow Charmed to reveal ONE picture.

@Kaskade2009 I think she would have, but it doesn't matter if she did or not, The "Charrmed" budget was cut in half for the last season, and the producers couldn't afford to pay her (I don't think she would have minded, but maybe whoever dealt with what she did wouldn't let her do it for free, I don't know) So that's why they mention Prue so much, They wanted to keep her alive, even if the couldn't show her.
Most of this is said in the Audio Commentary on the DVD.
