Wasps are much larger, usually slimmer in nature, and the biggest nest consists of5-30; they are carnivorous and can sting multiple times. Bees are smaller, have a queen, workers, pollenators, and are generally herbivores, and come in swarms from 100s to 1000s. Their stingers are barbed and they can only sting once. Basically, one is like a heard of little flying lions, the other are ants on steroids.

Actually, a good vid to watch is 30 vs 30,000 somewhere on Youtube. It shows 30 Wasps destroying a nest of some 30,000 bees.
