problem with audium & trillian is that they dont support the stuff I use for IM. Which is mainly Xfire and Steam. Being able to chat with friends, even if playing a game, without having to alt-tab out to see what they write is priceless.

If you want to be voiced (have the ability to chat) you have to follow some rules that requires you to chat but how can you follow rules if you cannot chat to begin with? You cannot ask to be voiced, it's aginst the rules. Go figure?

I find the best is either Safari or Mozilla. Internet Explorer in my opinion is a virus magnet, and google chrome, for me many times takes long amounts of time to load on a high traffic site and sometimes it freezes up altogether. Anyone know a really good browser?

I'm not very happy of any of them right now. Firefox constantly crashes on me and will use over 1gb RAM after a while, IE doesn't have very good activeX blocking controls (outside of Windows 2003 server) and does not open 100% of the webpages out there due to a dated html code, Opera is alright but not very user-friendly, and Safari downright sucks!

Interesting. Forums and most VBulletin stuff works fine for me using Chrome. I'm using XP media center edition w/ service pack 2, maybe you're using a different operating system and that's the problem?

I tried Google Chrome beta and I don't like it. I couldn't find a home page button, no refresh button, and worse it automatically imports bookmarks and settings from IE, when I wanted them imported from firefox. In short, I'll stick with firefox. Google can keep their chrome.

Regarding the Youtube thing, have you ever stopped to think that it could be user error? Youtube has always worked fine for me.

I don't think you understand how hard it is to actually test software and websites in every possible situation. I'm a hobbyist software developer, and I can tell you firsthand that it's not very easy, especially when every person in the world has different combinations of hardware, OSs, dlls, and other software.

Give it some time. It's not easy to make software.

Well I guess I could be wrong. Or maybe Google made their Beta Browser so that it doesn't work right with most people's connection. All I know is, FireFox (which I'm using right now) runs just fine and I didn't need to install any extra thing other than the Browser. But Chrome is very slow most of the time and contrary to what they said, does not work with EVERY thing on the Internet because I went to a games site and it was unable to run the game.
