@silentfrm818x13 If you are born in Iran (Persia), speak Persian, played professionally at age 14 for many Persian singers and still do is Persian enough for me but of course his of Armenian ancestry and speaks Armenian and there are many other Armenians in Iran mostly migrated to Iran during the Safavid era and many migrated south to Abadan as well to work in the oil industry. Viguen was also a very famous Persian singer of Armenian descent and so is Martik, Andranik, Helen, and others.

Armik is incredible! :) I've got just about everything he's ever cranked out, and it's some of my most prized flamenco tunes, for sure. If you love Armik too, you'll probably also really like Johannes Linstead. There are several of his vids on YouTube. Also, look for some of Charo's vids. Most ppl remember her for her antics in 70's comedies, but she's an incredibly talented flamenco musician as well.
