  • That dudes looks like KFK!!!!

  • AWESOME SOUND!! YEAH SAW THIS CHAP AT NAMM, BLIMEY, HE IS A SHREDDER!! VERY CLEAN AMP, CLEAN PLAYING WHAT MORE DOES ONE WANT?

  • its confusing to me that this is EVH signature. whats even more confusing to me is that its fender. it would make sense if this was peavey. either way, this looks like a pretty good contender for the v3m

  • @Linqua2112 Eddie's changed manufacturers a few times, it's not that big a deal.

  • @PutItAway101 i wasnt trying to create debate or anything, i was just saying that it was confusing because 5150s have a huge reputation for metal, i hear about them for that more than for van halen or that style of music. its also confusing to me because while they are a high gain/metal type amp, fender owns them, which are predominantly known for their clean tones whereas it would make more sense if peavey still owned it since they are predominantly known for high gain. not trying to bash

  • Pimp

  • think im saving my change for the 50watt, that paired up with an EVh GUITAR, HELL YEAH

  • I wonder if all these EVH guitars are assembled in Mexico just like the EVHiii heads are...

  • They should have Eddie demo it.

  • Dang this dude plays some cool runs !

  • When does this come out ?

  • this dude shreds!

  • 0:52 Ever? x)

  • SOUNDS LIKE SHIT ! Milk it some more for sure, but the old Marshall EVH

used will never be matched. Fender high gain has never sounded good. Jimmy

Page tried them for a while in the 90's...I am glad he got rid of them. Fender...stick to what you know best.

  • @jmibelltone AMEN!

  • @jmibelltone this amp is amazing mate, go out and play one for yourself or listen to a proper HQ mic'ed up demo of this amp before making judgements. listening to any amp through a crappy camera mic will never do it justice.

  • I was gonna break the bank and go full, but I'm goin micro now.

  • I like the V3M more

  • @misztal2112

There's many amps out that are better, and far less expensive. You can get a V3 micro AND a 4X12 cabinet for the same price that the 5150III is supposed to sell for ($1000).

  • @WarmothGuitarist Agreed. That's what is sooo sick about the entire Carvin company. Where else can you get an american made, carved top, quilted maple top, mahogany neck and body for half the price of a PRS?

  • @WarmothGuitarist Sure, you could grab a Bugera there, Diamond Jim. Or how about a Peavey Bandit or Marshall Valvestate!

  • Kinda looks like my Tempest Custom.

  • without changing my underwear -I'm gonna go to channel 2

    widdly widdly widdly

  • I didn't wanna hear THOSE notes aaaaahhhhhhhh

  • Great review. It's to the point as can be...

  • SOLD!!!

  • can still hear all the notes.. hahhahahaaaaa

  • 3:54 garbage. "You can hear all the notes" yeah thats doesn't make it sound any better I can't believe they couldn't get a better demo person for such a deserving amp

  • $999.99 ?? That's a lot better than the $2k for the 100 watter!

  • Hey Chris! No offence but next time ask Eddie if he has EVER used a mahogany neck! See shark guitar and others on google "Eddie Van Halen's Guitars".

  • Whoa holy shit!, this guy just loves letting the secrets slip, Does this mean the Mighty Van Halen are commencing the new album as we speak!

  • @joshkosh95 The new cd has been talked about for several months. They have been recording demos for a few months now and went in the studio over a week ago with David Lee. This will be the first CD recorded outside of 5150 since Diver Down. Eddie has even brought back some tunes from the late 70's and early 80's revising them. If they make the final song selection cut.

Check out Van Halen news desk daily and you can see updates as they happen.

  • @davidrobinsonmagic haha thanks for the info, Yeah I've been checking frequently for about 2 years haha. I just thought the information we previously received may have just been some strong rumours but this confirms it!

  • @joshkosh95 Yep..The producer they're working with announced either yesterday or today. I can't remember his name though.

  • @sixxthunderbird John Shanks, we shall see how it turns out :S I'm cautious. Still I'll take anything new from Eddie and Alex besides this guy is known for keeping the sound, but refining it. Another positive is that he posted "I still believe in the power and thunder of big bass drum and big guitars". Thats done it for me though I was like this is going to be good! Modern but classic Van Halen!

  • did we all catch what was said at 1:00?

  • that's it...2 things on the shopping list after NAMM- tc flashback delay and 5150iii mini....can't wait !

  • Excellent!

  • And never never bend a note.........
