does it make any noise? also, are you only using one servo to drive the cables? i would think that having two servos would be best. one driving the tail like it already is, and the other for vertical movement. it would require much more work/programing, but it would be worth it! nice work. =P

I'm not sure how he made his but the general way animatronic tails are made is having a series of pipes that pivot on one another and then cables are run down smaller tubes attached along the main tail tubes. When these cables are pulled the main tail pipes will all pivot creating a gradual curve along the entire tail. The cables can be pulled simply from your hand or by a motorized mechanism such as servos that have a controller with a pre-determined program. : )

Well Chain I made 14 tail cores at 8 hours a piece before i got that right. I spent hours and hours learning AVR code and enough electronics to design the thing and put it together.Right now I am on the 3rd cable drive design using 3/16 steel cables and have been breaking them.

Sry not giving all that work away for free but they will be for sale on my website when they are solid.
