I had no idea that this song was a cover of a song by The Postal Service. Having only known this version for years, I can say that for those who this one first, this version will be the most beautiful of the various covers produced so far. For me it's not even close, Iron and Wine took this rather good song and made it truly great and much more emotive.

Ok, I am a very, very mellow person when it comes to music, but this is excessive. This is hard to listen to due to the fact that I am constantly waiting. It's not bad, just not as good as the original. Also key factor is that monotone works in the other version, but this very acoustical slow version sounds really bad with the small pitch change.
@aForkandaSpoon I agree with you, I definitely like the original better! As a matter of fact I just posted a cover of this version of the song, but played it at a much more reasonable tempo haha. You should check it out if you get a minute!

I love how it's gentle enough to fall asleep to yet meaningful enough to make you want to listen hard.

i like all three versions of this song, i like I&W when im just chilling at home, but i like confides when im outside(heard such great heights live at the warped tour by them) but i like the postal services version, when im just doing little things around the house, or in a kind of small inside area
