I think she doesn't know she's dead and in purgatory and sees herself through the window as still alive.
Very good film. The atmosphere, ambient music and sense of dread are very effective. Good camerawork too.

@besthorrormovies1 Well the title and that PICTURE in the first house kind of hints at what's going on.
Nice short film!
If the ending is what I think it is, i've got a very similar (non-traditional & with a twist) ghost story to be filmed in 2012.
