Now i may be no australian but i am a monarchist, a very inspiring speech i might say. Kev Rudd is a real fool, proposing a republic at this time(or any), only 11 years since your last one, and at a time of global economic crisis, etc. Its just not the thing a government should be thinking of in such times, he should spend his efforts on securing the economy, not what i believe to be his own sneaky way of trying to become the australian president. With him, its not australia, its greed!
