Thing about fully lootable corpses is that its not as big a deal as it sounds. If you've played a game like WoW before than your used to the mental orientation that gear is literally everything, but that isn't the case in darkfall. Theres only a few upgrades from the starting gear, and since the game is totally skill based you can get away with pvping in starting gear from time to time. Besides, its also possible for your buddies to loot your corpse and keep your gear safe for you until you rez.

ok dumbass let me break it down for you, 1 graphic updates are only implemented at the very end of making the game, 2nd the graphics in the newer vids are next gen, 3rd obviously the animations are bad and that just proves the point that theyre keeping their promise, there is no technology on this planet(maybe pentagon) that can hold 100s of ppl in one area that are fighting and have next gen animations, these are the best youll ever get in a good game, go play aoc and wank to ur ps1 combat

The 1-shot kills in the video are because the enemies were already weakened. You'll notice if you look that the soldiers were bloodied up pretty bad.

People who are complaining about the animations fail to realize how much actual work has gone into the infrastructure of the game itself. I'm sure after the game is launched and they've obtained some profit, and allowed to expand into a larger company, they will polish it up.

WoW, WaR, and AoC are sheer trash in comparison to what they have for Darkfall now. The fact that skill is actually necesary alone ensures that this is the case.  Additionally people need to remember this is PRE-BETA Darkfall, even if the animations are iffy they'll be fixed over time as they have been with most other MMOs released on the market.
