That nearly happed to me, lorry drivers a killers, small car should stay away from them, take the plate number and report it to the police and hopefully one day they lost the licence and go fry chips in a shop.

The lorry was either overtaking slower moving traffic and she tried to undertake it and barge it off the road from the left lane but she paid the price for her own carelessness. My dad was an ex HGV driver and he often said women get angry and aggessive when a lorry overtakes them. Its true, they do.

As a truck driver, not for one second to I believe that the driver of that truck did not know the car was there. He would've at least been able to see the top of the car.
I'd guess that, if anything, the driver of the car probably did some stupid maneuver that pissed the truck driver off, and he'd just had enough - a sort of 'last straw', if you will.
Even so, such an act is not justifiable, not matter what the truck driver's state of mind was at the time. The guy should be locked up.

As a fully qualified (male) driving instructor, I would point out that statistically, females are safer drivers. ICECOOL1065-you say WHY did she sit there for a whole minute-what do you think she could have done? got out & knocked on the cab drivers door & ask him to stop??? I accept that the car is in a blind spot right under the cab window, but it didn't miraculously appear there... it had to be in view at some point, either in a mirror or in front of him.
My question is why are their are so many sexist around claiming that women should not be allowed to drive, their are many people who make mistakes while driving, doesn't mean it is all womens' fault or all mens' fault, but I have see many men make mistakes just as women. OK I can see the truck driver unable to view her at that angle but hasn't she heard of a car horn? I heard no mention of (or sound) of her using the horn (seen other vids of this with sound), which considering she is nearly under him he should have heard.

I'm not saying who's mistake it was, as I dont know, but ladies make fewer accident claims than men. If men were statistically safer drivers, insurance would be CHEAPER not more EXPENSIVE for male drivers. problem is, on average, a lot of men THINK they are good drivers so push the limits, whereas women know what they are capable of and drive accordingly.

As a fully qualified (male) driving instructor, I would point out that statistically, females are safer drivers. ICECOOL1065-you say WHY did she sit there for a whole minute-what do you think she could have done? got out & knocked on the cab drivers door & ask him to stop??? I accept that the car is in a blind spot right under the cab window, but it didn't miraculously appear there... it had to be in view at some point, either in a mirror or in front of him.

My question is why are their are so many sexist around claiming that women should not be allowed to drive, their are many people who make mistakes while driving, doesn't mean it is all womens' fault or all mens' fault, but I have see many men make mistakes just as women. Plain and simple the guy should have realized that her car was there.

@icecool - You ain't living in this century with the rest of us are ya! - Although women might not be as good as men at driving, you can't say it's her fault. To be honest, it looks like the lorry had clipped the Clio from the right while changing lanes,.. So the 'moron' as you put it, is the lorry driver for not even noticing the lump of metal he was pushing at 56mph.
..(and sitting there was not an option, her engine would have stalled - Like you could do better! - You'd probably pee)

This woman is nearly as idiotic as those toyota drivers who would ring my brothers station saying there car is out of control, and one woman even too the keys out and locked the wheel instead of doing what any man knows which is putting it in neutral and reverse.
And she said he wasnt very concerned? No, he kept calm and collected, she was probably screeching hysterically.

@GL0D its most likely to of been the cars fault because she proberbly untertook the lorry and then postioned herself in the lorrys blind spot, the lorry then changes lane without knowing the cars there, and when the car was trapped infront of the lorry the car would still of been in the lorry blind spot

@WESTMIDTRUCKER if you look closely the lift axle is up on the tanker so he is running empty so you would not feel any drag it happend to me in 1998 in the dark and i did not see the car until i stood up off my seat and looked down car driver's cut you up so often it's a nightmare oh by the way i got 5 points and £300 fine

I was looking at that video. And like you said if she was in the left hand lane and he was in the right. She would have had to have gone in front of him other wise how the hell did she get there in the first place.

@Hawx2Veteran its a renult clio and probs dosent even weigh more than 1 tonne. the hgvs empty, its designed to handle a gross weight of well over 44 tonnes so a little clio has got nothing on a hgv with 400+bhp that can travel unlimited at 70+ mph whilest over loaded. it would have been a smooth nudge that rotated the car because youd be an idiot to turn sharply on a motorway so noise is a minimum, ever been in a lorry at speed on a rain day? pretty nosiey. so none of your no points are relevent

@Hawx2Veteran same point others have made clio does'nt weigh 2.5 tonnes and if you drive i am sure you look out for pedestrians cyclists and motorbikes but why not trucks? i drive a 44 tonner and in my experience most car drivers have the same attitude (not ones who know/married etc to truckers) i must beat that lorry at all costs especially at roundabouts they fly up the side and brake hard when they realise you vehicle is going to cut across and in an accident want to blame the lorry driver

I see far more accidents caused by lorry drivers who think they own the road, trying to race and over take other lorries than women causing accidents and I am a man!
