Morrisons bought out the quality Safeway chain in 2004,so at the time of the fire it was five years. They nearly went bankrupt trying to digest a much bigger company. Pity they didn't, their stores are rank and full of fat chavs stuffing their faces with pies and cakes with their benefit money and gobbing on the salad bars. Tesco are the worst though for always being in the news for prosecution for out of date food and rodent infestation in their stores.

The roof has a hole in it and the inside is gutted. That's all. The whole building didn't burn down, and it is still structurally intact and sound. Also, it's only been a Morrison's for 5 years or so.. I believe it was Sainsbury's before?
i work for morrisons in london and in the staff magazine "Morrisons Fresh" It was completely burnt down and they built a tempory store in just over a week :D GO OUR HAD WORKING TEAMS :D
