oh I hate it when the A/C goes out. I live in an apt and the last few apts that I have lived in the A/C went out and of course it was during the summer and the landlords always take about a week to get them fixed. So I bought a 24,000 BTU window unit as a backup and it keeps the whole apt cool. I don't know why it takes a week but I guess the landlords think that they can do whateer the hell they want.
that sucks, good idea on having a backup though. with chris' MS the heat zaps him. it cost 175 to replace a capacitor that i just replaced under two years ago.
