The film will follow the arc of a full ayahuasca ceremony done by the maestro and this will be a mix of his icaros and live musicians. I've had many great revelations involving peace and love. I seek for the world to experience true tranquility. Heheh, fair enough. I was looking for a word less malacious. The subtext I was looking for was "one would be un wise". Look I just have an issue with those of us who seem to forget history. Where as, people like us we're getting burned a live in the past because of the will of the black magicians or dark shamans. Granted, I don't know what their outlooks were, but I assume at least 1 person who got burned alive had a completely positive outlook on life and they still got murdered.
Being aware of it is important, but a lot of people who are aware of it have a hatred for it deep down under their skin. Being able to be PRESENT with it I think is extremely important. To act based on it, well then you add to the negative. Ultimately the most important thing is too understand it, and know that at times it engulfs the positive. And at times, for the positive to react the negative must grow greatly. I'm not trying to scare people, I'm just stating a solid truth.

I was pretty sure that Ayahuasca contained Harmaline, harmine and is mixed with psyhcotria leaves which contains DMT and then those two together produces the potion Natéma or Yage the "Inca wine of Death" or "the little death" but thats only what I remember from the book Hallucinogens and Shamanism by Micheal Harner. :)
I don't know that this is Ayahuasca related because this movie takes place in the wild old west, and Ayahuasca is a medicinal plant from the Amazon. Secondly, to all those who are 'curious' or think Ayahuasca can be used to experience an 'exotic ritual' for fun, please do an intensive research from a reliable source, especially do one within your inner self. Ayahuasca is to help your mind and soul heal in order to learn about yourself and become a better person.

A purely electroacoustic work, using jungle field recordings as source might have breathed some life into it, check out Francisco López, he does very experimental sound work using only natural sounds..
buff, I like experimenatal electronics, but having heard Juan sing live in ayahuasca sessions I think you sort of did the icaro a disservice. I know you had the best intentions an respect but.. this is VERY delicate material, so it didn't work for me, you are putting two things together, icaros and postrock (just to call it something) that take away from each other instead of feeding into each other..

Heheh, fair enough. I was looking for a word less malacious. The subtext I was looking for was "one would be un wise". Look I just have an issue with those of us who seem to forget history. Where as, people like us we're getting burned a live in the past because of the will of the black magicians or dark shamans. Granted, I don't know what their outlooks were, but I assume at least 1 person who got burned alive had a completely positive outlook on life and they still got murdered.

Being aware of it is important, but a lot of people who are aware of it have a hatred for it deep down under their skin. Being able to be PRESENT with it I think is extremely important. To act based on it, well then you add to the negative. Ultimately the most important thing is too understand it, and know that at times it engulfs the positive. And at times, for the positive to react the negative must grow greatly. I'm not trying to scare people, I'm just stating a solid truth.

The hallucinations doesn´t make sense, the trip only shows you how many possibilities your brain has, but they´re not worth giving them so much importance. Psychoanalisis should be developed and encouraged, not drug culture.

Ayahuasca contains DMT, the chemical your brain naturally releases when you die. Science currently has few suitable explanations not just for DMT but also for dreams and many other important parts of our live. Science is a powerful tool but it is not everything, we still have our souls.

Really? I was pretty sure that Ayahuasca contained Harmaline, harmine and is mixed with psyhcotria leaves which contains DMT and then those two together produces the potion Natéma or Yage the "Inca wine of Death" or "the little death" but thats only what I remember from the book Hallucinogens and Shamanism by Micheal Harner. :)

I don't know that this is Ayahuasca related because this movie takes place in the wild old west, and Ayahuasca is a medicinal plant from the Amazon. Secondly, to all those who are 'curious' or think Ayahuasca can be used to experience an 'exotic ritual' for fun, please do an intensive research from a reliable source, especially do one within your inner self. Ayahuasca is to help your mind and soul heal in order to learn about yourself and become a better person.

A purely electroacoustic work, using jungle field recordings as source might have breathed some life into it, check out Francisco López, he does very experimental sound work using only natural sounds..

buff, I like experimenatal electronics, but having heard Juan sing live in ayahuasca sessions I think you sort of did the icaro a disservice. I know you had the best intentions an respect but.. this is VERY delicate material, so it didn't work for me, you are putting two things together, icaros and postrock (just to call it something) that take away from each other instead of feeding into each other..
