Dont know if you will still read it, but the reason you couldnt plant the seed is because you had zeldas note equipped instead of the beans. Just trying to help out :)

damn dude. it just blows my mind how you got those heart pieces. especially the fishing one. it's also kinda cool that we seeing people got to witness for a few minutes only hearing the game instead of seeing it. gotta say, it diffidently takes skill and a lot of patience to play this game like you do. also, i was wondering if you are well aware that the version of the game you're playing has the altered fire temple music? anyways, keep these videos coming.

Garrett, are you aware that you had Zelda's letter equipped instead of the magic beans when you were trying to plant by lake potion shop at lake hylia. This is why it wouldn't work. You were right there!

You probably already know this, but the potion shop in Lake Hylia is actually like a marine biology place with a pool inside (The potion shop and the lake lab are the only shops that share that song) and if you dive all the way down to the bottom the scientist guy inside gives you a piece of heart when you talk to him afterward. In order to dive to the bottom you have to catch a big fish (13 lbs. or more) as an adult.

You had a letter equipped rather than a seed. You were right over it a few times. That's why it didn't work.
