AVP Gold was so much better then this, that AVP3 isn't even on the same planet. AVP Gold is out making out with supermodels and blowing shit up while the the new AVP3 just looks cool but sits at home sucking its thumbs and being emo.

rebellion really dropped the ball on this game

all of the coolest elements, abducting humans as the Alien, a celing full of aliens crawling towards you....they're only in single player.

the abilities aren't balanced, the levels are inconsistantly awesome and terrible, the graphics are nice and the themes are strong, but the gameplay is fucking awful

lies about (delayed) dedicated servers didnt help

selling mappacks right out of the gate only further fragmented the playerbase.

oh man, i remember the original game that came out in 1999! i was about 4 years old when it came out and my cousen tought me how to play it. it was the first game i have ever played and 1 of the scariest games i have ever played!
