  • And my 2007 less then 30,000 is going under the knife for studs and head gaskets already!!! Haven't even sent out the last payment yet sweet!!

  • Yes the can can stay on no problem if you are not putting in the studs. 1pug was ARPing big dirty. Waaaaaaay easier to stud with cab off and if you have a lift all the more reason to break out a power tool :)

  • I have a 04 6.0 with 160,000. Only minor problems to date and no HG problems at all.

  • Wonderful 6.0 junk

  • @LSfreak84 yup..ford junk..lol

  • One time right and your done. Get the heads resurfaced and arp studs. I run 55psi of boost run 12sec for a long time. The 6.0l has a stout bottom end just get the top to seal.

  • @jesshwarren we did end up getting new studs from ford...its back together and running great!

  • 120K miles, couple trannys & doing the heads on a diesel WTF?! Oh nm, sorry it's a Ford.

  • @Begbucks lol...Im beginning to think I made a mistake by buying a ford to plow with...ill just cross my fingers and hope for the best

  • @pisser20001 Yes crossing fingers is popular with the Ford crowd lmao.

  • @Begbucks lol...im beginning to think your rite about that!

  • Why didnt you put studs in? Those bolts are the problem, along with the egr system.

  • @daledozer Im not the owner of the truck...I suggest, but no one listens...lol

  • ffs have fun with that lol snowins startin soon

  • @richthecardude94 ya...we gettin snow for the next 2 or 3 days

  • Took me all day to get the cab off big dirty going to take a day to get it together and should be on the road Saturday with any luck but it's pug we are dealing with so I'm sure I'll get dinked over big time in one way or another ffs!

  • @1puglife It is just a plain pain in the ass...Hope ya dont get dinked...keep up the good work buddy!

  • id stick to the gas engines if i were you.750 bucks from a wrecker instead of a couple grand.if youre towing less than 10000 pounds you dont need a diesel engine.just my two cents.

  • @1arcticcat1 I personally drove both seasonalls 03 wrecker(7.3) and flatbed 04(6.0)..Those diesels did the trick and were better on fuel than the 454 chevy and the dodge v10 prior...
