  • can someone please tag mark may? or was he riding the pine?

  • Mark May cries himself to sleep every night.

  • Damn... even RICE scored 7 the week before... hahaha man Pitt sucks.

  • Pitt was awesome when Mark May was there.

  • bahaha... one of my friends told me about this beatdown on pitt, but i thought it was exageration... guess not!

    '

    lol @ mark may

  • @ 8:03 that's john majors former vols coach

  • so your boys call off the dogs in the 4th qtr

  • that was the baddest beating that ohio state did to pittsburgh 72-0 in 1996 i was 13 then.

  • i found pepe pearson's jersey at a thrift store WTF...it is now framed and hanging on my wall!!

  • AHHH YES ! That was good ! Was it good for you too mark may ?

  • Didn't Nick Goings eventually transfer to Pitt?

  • How is that speed Mark the May Bitch..Hope ESPN cans you because it is so easy to see why u hate OSU..cause the own you..Hey Welfare called and your check is ready

  • At 7:29 -- OSU has seven blockers on the field for return specialist David Boston. Punt return with 8 men on the field, and he SCORES. How sad. Mark May -- "This Bud's For You."

  • @ 7:50 that record will withstand the test of time.

  • Mark May...lick my nuts.

  • if there was a boxing contest they would stopped it very early.

  • Mark May has never forgiven OSU for this beat down

  • The absolute all time low point of the Pitt football program that year! Amazingly, the following year Pitt went 6-5 and made a bowl in Walt Harris' first year as Pitt head coach.

  • "Nooo..."

Haha Gary Danielson :) 8-men, only 7 blockers. Holy shit :D

  • Now I know why Mark May is so bitter towards OSU.

  • What was the score in the 1995 OSU- Pitt game?????

  • Wow, the 90s were truly the worst time in recent Pitt football history.

The program still hasn't fully recovered from the mess that was made of it from 1985-1999.

  • Man good memories. Remember watching these teams when I was in college in the mid 90's. So much NFL talent every year. Coops teams were more fun to watch and more explosive than Tressel's teams, but Coop just couldn't beat UM. The 96 and 98 teams could play against any of the all time college teams and its a shame that the 98 team lost that game to MSU.

  • @cylack The 2007 Buckeye team was a lot like a throwback to Cooper's teams, but like Cooper's teams, blew it in one game, that one being against Illinois. Yet somehow they got to play LSU for it all and couldn't quite seal the deal.

  • Mark May- This ones for your ass!!!!! As all those ass beatings we put on Pitt in the 90s. They are all yours baby!

  • Yeah. It was a home and away series with Pitt. In the year prior OSU played at Pitt and beat them 54-14.

  • @BIGBUCK20 hahahahaha

  • That is because a gut named David Boston caught the TD pass.

  • hahaha, i am a pitt fan, but this makes me laugh cuz John Majors was our coach and he sucked, and we played in the sickest conference in the game.

  • Ahhh.. the source of Mark May's hatred..

  • @JQvls i wish i could post this to his facebook wall! or send it to him in a message

  • I am no Ohio Sate fan, but I am a Mountaineer. This is lovely. Thank you Buckeyes.

  • A true Buckeye asskicking! That OSU offensive line was at an all time high that time. Orlando Pace!

  • 70 points in back to back games, how many times has that been done? My first game was the 70-7 beating of Rice, I wish I could've gone to this one, and known enough football back then as a little kid to really appreciate those beatings.

  • Unless it has already been said...this is the main reason Mark May absolutely hates tOSU.

  • wow! punt return td with only 8 guys on the field!!

  • Gotta love the announcer at 7:38: "nooo"

    ...oh, yes!

  • That was brutal.

  • Big Kat (0:43) is god.

  • Hey, OSU actually used the TE as a reciever then!!!

  • For those who remember, Stanly Jackson lost his passing touch about half the way through this season. He looked good until the Gopher game. Joe Germaine should have been the starter the whole season.

  • Cooper put together all this talent but just couldn't put together the final piece of the puzzle. For whatever reason he just couldn't motivated his players to 1. BEAT scUM & 2. WIN MANY BOWL GAMES!!! Teams, talent & "should have, would haves" dictate that Cooper probably could have been 9-4 vs the "Skunkweezels" and maybe 2-3 NC's. He would have been the greatest coach in OSU history and probably still be there. So close but yet so far!!! GO BUCKS, BEAT scUM!!!

  • He himself said paraphrasing, Michigan is just another game. I don't remember what exactly he said, but it was along those lines, of all the games are equally important. Wrong answer coop. I watched a pitiful Purdue team beat Michigan 6-3, or something close to that. They were 6-5, but still beat (one of)Coopers undefeated teams.

  • Too much bad karma!!!

  • I still say that this was quite possibly the best Buckeye team of all time in terms of complete talent. Jackson and Germaine, Pearson, Miller, Stanley, Tillman, Boston and Wiley as freshmen, Pace, Sualua. And then the defense! YIKES. Finkes, Vrabel, Katzenmoyer, Springs, Winfield? Man, still pains me that this team lost at home to Michigan for a chance at the title, cause I still count these guys as maybe the best Buckeye team ever.

  • Goings was stupid for transfering. Great OSU team

  • Ironically enough, I think he transferred to Pitt.

  • I actually met Nick Goings at the Big33 High School Football Classic in 1996 -- he was the MVP of the game.

  • WOW. SO much talent on that team. Amazing. Thanks for posting!!!!!!!!

  • LOL you know I remember this game well and a couple seasons ago in 2007 OSU had a 45-0 lead on Northwestern and I thought it would be the chance to top this one.. but Tress called off the dogs and OSU 'only' ended up winning 58-7.

  • Did you see Tressel's reaction to Dan Herron's touchdown against the girl scouts this year? You can see Tressel is a class act, and it will be hard to blow people out like this, unless he has an axe to grind. Like Michigan this year. He gets a lead and sits on it.

  • thanks for all the great Buckeye videos!

  • You rock! I've been dying to see this game.

  • owned
