Beautiful!!! I tried make backround without notes for recorder by guitar and I saw the difference on Lachrime Pavaen I made by my way new and I admire those who play notes on lutes and guitars...as it sounds different than those who not as I. Incomparable!

Your videos are wonderful, thanks for sharing them! I´m 16 years old and live in Brazil, in a city where we don´t have anyone to teach how to play this marvellous instrument. I study the guitar since I was 6 years old, but what I really want to play is the baroque lute. I´ll try to learn it this year (I´ve already ordered one last October), taking some classes during the Festival de Música Antiga de Juíz de Fora, which happens in Brazil every July

I love these two Menuets and I know they can be tricky to perform, but I think you are doing a very good job. Personally I use to play the second Menuet slower.

It's interesting to see how opinions may differ. Teachers often told me *not* to play slowlier this kind of second menuet, because it would be like expresssing twice the same thing (its minor charm), which is too much...
