  • I hope you found the right shoes by now... these obviously aren't working. Could be the vamp is too long, or it could be the shank, as Grishkos have harder shanks than other shoes. My local store stuffs everyone into Grishko 2007s so I feel your pain. I think you'd be happy in some shoes with pliable, easy to break in shanks, such as Capezios or Freeds

  • Uh... zoom the shot out more so we can see the entirety of your feet into the frame. And this shot should be in a more well-lit environment.

When you say "them," you mean the feet or the shoes? They "look nice," but Pointes are supposed to be more functional than fashionable. You just broke 'em in? Yeah, I can tell. You're doing fine for a rookie. I already wanna see more...

Keep it up. I wanna see how far you'll get in ballet...and in those shoes.

  • Try to keep in your first!;)

  • try to get to the top of your box in first

  • YO! WE CAN"T SEE THEM!? HELLOOOOOOH?

  • they look great but i dont think theyre broken properly!

  • ribons to tight and break them in lower but they look like they are also pulling you back or off your pointe.

  • your ribbons were too tight. also you need to get up over your boxes completely, its bad for your ankles to not fully get up on pointe (i got tendonitis that way). what might help is that i think you need to break your point shoes in a little lower on the shank

  • your ribbons are too tight.

  • ur forcing yur turnout in first position, do it from ur hips

  • your ribbons are tied too tight so your ankles cannot move enough. you would have a better pointe if you tied your ribbons looser

  • You are sickling majorly

  • your sickling your feet.

  • your ribbons look relli tight!

  • it kinda looks like u broke the shank on ur shoes so maybe its time for a new pair =D

  • i think you have a really strong arch... im starting to do pointe and my shoes slip a lil too easily. so i had to get new ones that dont slip. and they work pretty nicely..lol

  • Lol

  • hey um the problem is that i think your shank is too strong for your feet. i know that you said its "somewhat" broken in, but its just too hard. with the perfect shank you should be able to rise completely on the box the first time you releve on them. so yeah, try a softer shank. they look nice tho :)

  • can somebody help me. I want to upload a video of me in demi-pointe. I tried adding it from movie maker and powerpointe, but both ways don't work. What do I do? Please help me :( I really want to upload videos. Thanks BTW, I think you did a very good job en pointe, in this video.

  • @pinkdancer0708 to upload from movie maker you need to make sure the files are all WMVs or MWVs ic ant remeber wich....then you need to publish it to your computer....once you do that then you can put it on youtube.......idk bout the power point thio

  • Much better thatn your fist pointe shoes!

  • make sure you get all the way up on your box.

  • exactly what I was going to say. :)

  • You should try sewing your ribbons farther forward on your shoes(near where the vertical seam is) and your shanks are twisting which could mean that your shoes are too narrow. Overall, I dont think its you, its your shoes. Try something else! :)

  • I've had Grishko 2007s and loved them! They used to be my regular go-to for several years, but this past time, I went for Sanshas, just for a change. The Sanshas are much more comfortable, but the Grishkos make my feet look a lot better!

  • Keep your heels closer,

It seems lke you're sliding sideways on releves

  • ur not really going over ur toes when you do ur releves to the side.... but the rest looks ok... i have grishko 2007 also... but its dead already... i havent bought a new one... i hope i could soon... :D.. goodluck!

  • they look better than the other pair though :D

    x

  • I believe that you need to put more force on your left foot.. I can notice because the left point isn't dirty down like the left one..

and if the pointes are new.. try to switch them.. the left from the right and viceverse..

and first of all use your tights! you are gonna hurt your feet!!

  • streatch you ankles more and get over your box! there not that broken in.

  • i agree

  • yeah the ribbons are too tight.

and your not over on your box yet.... yout need to break them in in demi pointe....

  • ribbons = too tight, they look like theyre squishing you
