I would never shoot a machine gun standing unless it's absulotley necessary. Fully prone, hidden, just like you would hide artillery. That's what I meant. I was just offering my friendly advice and he messaged me about it in a friendly manner.

may i ask...what's the purpose of shooting a machine gun from the hip like that? Escp that you're accuracy in a real life battle wouldn't be so great and standing makes you vulnerable to sniping. Add to the that the noise that thing makes...i'm sure you'd want to do away with the attention it brings in a real fir fight...right?

the purpose of shooting from the hip is when you charge at a small place where ther is enymies. you walk slowly against them and just pressing the trigger and a huge wall of lead will kill or supress any threat. You only use it in CQB (Close quater battles). Now you know why to shot from the hip.
