  • Jeeesus the sound production on these clips are ridiculous :/ Hail The Manics! But wtf went wrong with the speech vs. music volume? I just got an ear defect!

    1. Generation Terrorists

    2. Holy Bible.

    3. Journal for Plague Lovers

    4. Everything Must Go

    5. Postcards..

  • "...they were actually imposed upon by two mad bastards called Nick and Richey." Love it! Haha

  • "...and suddenly we couldn't reach Richey" that's so sad.

    Great interview.

  • That last shot of James talking about Richey is so sad.

  • i find this documentary really interesting as the manics are my favourite band. thing is...the talking is really quiet so i turn my volume right up. parts of the music randomly blares out so i have too turn it down again. its 2.31am. im waking every fucker up in my house. damn you NME damn you!

  • It's weird how Sean is the only one who seems to look back on Gold Against the Soul with some fondness - I didn't expect that. Good to hear from him!

  • It's rather sweet that James is embarrassed to say he thought they would effect people - it obviously escapes him that they really did. :) Long live the Manics!

  • Great that Sean's talking :) one thing though, I'd like him (now that he's mastered the art of speech) to talk a little Moore about his role in the songwriting. We always get James calling himself the likes of 'chief tunesmith' (don't worry, still love Bradders) and never anything about the one who was actually so dedicated to music he would've pursued it even if he hadn't been in the Manics. So I refuse to believe he is merely a drummer who's included in the writing credits for the sake of it.

  • I'm with you on this one. Even though i'm a huge fan of JDB but no MSP fan can deny that Sean play a huge role in making music for the band.

  • Thanks :D

  • um.....whats the big argument here lol?

  • fine, ok then. This documentary is really good. Took your time NME, but it was worth it! I love it how they ask all of them the same question, so you don't just get James or Nicky's point of view. It's nice to see Sean gets to speak for a lot of the vid. happy now?!?!?! I'm sorry, but I didn't have time to write loads and I had to get off the computer so I just posted randomly.

  • -5?!?! Man, I'm really sorry, Look, if it really irritates you, just mark it as spam. =s

  • hey its me lol what was the argument you were dealing with in this video? lol
